Belmond has partnered with Cora Pacific Development to manage Milaroca, a new hotel in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. The hotel will be consciously and sensitively built from scratch, with interior design led by a team of experts and creative direction by Rosetta Getty.
This agreement expands Belmond’s presence in Mexico, joining their existing properties Casa de Sierra Nevada and Maroma. Milaroca aims to capture the essence of contemporary lifestyle and become a destination for the thriving creative community. The founders of Milaroca, Barbara Machen and Rosetta Getty, express their excitement about the partnership with Belmond and their vision of creating a unique luxury experience.
The property will feature 57 guest pavilions designed to harmonize with the surrounding jungle, incorporating local craftsmanship and contemporary art. Milaroca will serve as a hub for art, fashion, and music, offering a vibrant cultural calendar and events inspired by local traditions.
Additionally, the hotel will offer 27 private villas exclusively available to invited owners, providing access to the community and Belmond’s renowned hospitality services. The anticipated opening of Milaroca, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Nayarit is in 2025.
