Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel, in Tuscany, will launch the 2024 season with two new private villas – Villa Thesan and Villa Usil – inspired by the property’s rich Etruscan heritage and interpreted with Tuscan flair by interior designer, Alessandro Moriconi. Surrounded by 1,300 hectares of land, the hotel’s Executive Chef Daniele Sera continues to embrace the farm-to-table philosophy with expanded vegetable and aromatic herb gardens.
Guests may join the gardener for an educational tour followed by a traditional Tuscan cooking class, ending with lunch in the Orti del Castello. For the first time this year, guests can experience Il Palio di Siena, a medieval, national horse-riding tournament taking place on 2 July and 16 August, from the private vantage point the historical tower overlooking the Piazza del Campo. After the 17 districts have competed, an exclusive dinner will be hosted on the streets, amongst the locals.
Open from 28 March 2024, for Villa bookings see here.
