Marriott International has expanded its footprint in Greece with the opening of Amoh, a Luxury Collection Resort, a new high-end property set along the island’s southeastern coastline.
Located above the Mediterranean on Kavos Beach in Pefki, the resort places guests within close reach of Lindos, one of the island’s most historically significant towns, while also neighbouring a Hellenistic-Roman limestone quarry that adds a distinctive cultural backdrop.
A coastal retreat shaped by landscape and history
The resort features 197 rooms and suites, many offering uninterrupted views over the Aegean Sea. Several accommodations include private pools, reinforcing the property’s focus on privacy and elevated comfort.
Among the standout options is the Rhoda Presidential Suite, which combines a spacious living area, a separate bedroom, and a large private terrace with direct access to its own pool.
Guests also benefit from proximity to both Kavos Beach and Kymata Beach, each within walking distance and offering panoramic coastal views that define this part of Rhodes.
Dining, wellness and leisure offerings
Amoh introduces a broad culinary programme with eight restaurants and bars, designed to cater to a range of dining experiences from casual beachfront settings to more refined options.
Wellness facilities are anchored by the Elispa spa, which incorporates locally sourced Greek ingredients into its treatments. The spa includes six treatment rooms, as well as a steam bath and sauna.
The resort also caters to active guests with a 220-square-metre fitness centre equipped with Technogym and Pilates apparatus, alongside outdoor tennis courts. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools further expand the leisure offering.
strengthening a luxury presence in greece
Bruce Rohr, vice-president and global brand leader for The Luxury Collection, described the opening as part of a broader effort to deepen the brand’s presence in destinations defined by strong cultural identity.
With Amoh, Marriott continues to position The Luxury Collection in locations that combine heritage, natural beauty and high-end hospitality, reinforcing Rhodes as a key destination within the Mediterranean luxury travel market.
