The Hoxton to Debut in India with Bengaluru Opening in 2026

Accor India and InterGlobe Hotels, in partnership with Ennismore, have signed an agreement to launch The Hoxton in India, marking a significant step in the brand’s global expansion.

The first property, The Hoxton Bengaluru City, is scheduled to open in November 2026 in Bengaluru, a location selected for its creative energy and growing reputation as one of the country’s most dynamic urban centres.

A lifestyle-led concept enters the indian market

The Hoxton Bengaluru will feature 149 guest rooms across multiple categories, including Roomy, Biggy and four top-tier suites branded as Homey. Located on the upper two floors, the Homey suites will span 55 square metres, positioning them as premium offerings within the hotel.

The development reflects a broader strategy to tap into India’s rapidly evolving lifestyle hospitality segment, where demand is rising for design-led, experience-driven stays that blend global standards with local cultural relevance.

Social spaces and dining at the core

True to The Hoxton’s brand identity, the property will integrate a mix of food and beverage venues, event spaces and community-focused areas designed to attract both international travellers and local residents.

Among the highlights is the inclusion of Fi’lia restaurant and bar, which will mark its second location in India. The concept is expected to add to the hotel’s social appeal, reinforcing its positioning as more than just a place to stay.

Strategic expansion in a high-growth market

Gaurav Bhushan, who also serves as CEO of Ennismore, described India as one of the most promising hospitality markets globally, noting that the country is ready for a new wave of lifestyle-driven experiences.

He highlighted that the Bengaluru opening forms part of a wider pipeline that includes upcoming Ennismore brands such as Delano and Mama Shelter, alongside the debut of Roswyn Mumbai under the Morgans Originals collection.

From the ownership side, Aditya Pande said the launch represents a key milestone in delivering design-forward, globally recognised hospitality concepts tailored to Indian consumers.

Part of a broader growth ambition

The signing aligns with a long-term strategic partnership between Accor and InterGlobe, which aims to develop a network of 300 hotels across India under Accor and Ennismore brands by 2030.

With Bengaluru set as the entry point, The Hoxton’s arrival signals a shift in the Indian hotel landscape – one that leans toward lifestyle, community integration and culturally attuned design, positioning the brand to resonate with a new generation of travellers seeking more than conventional luxury.
