Minor Hotels has announced the transformation of NH Curitiba The Five into NH Collection Curitiba, marking the debut of the premium NH Collection brand in Brazil. This move brings the internationally recognized label—already established in 24 countries with more than 100 properties—into the heart of Paraná’s capital, catering to both business and leisure travelers with a promise of elevated, personalized service.
A Premium Redesign
The property now offers 24 newly added suites with private balconies, exclusive bedding, a dedicated guest relations service, and curated cultural touches in every space. By early 2026, two expansive 90 m² suites will be unveiled, bringing the total room count to 176. Rooms now feature signature Brilliant Basics, including a pillow menu, early-bird breakfast, plush bathrobes, slippers, and a sleep kit with herbal tea, eye mask, and aromatherapy products. Modern touches such as Nespresso machines and smart TVs with streaming access further enhance the in-room experience.
The main lobby has also been modernized, introducing ambient sound, signature fragrances, and a new “welcome corner” where guests are greeted with a complimentary drink upon arrival.
Culinary Highlights
Dining is at the core of NH Collection Curitiba’s identity. The hotel’s Trinitas restaurant, led by chef Silvonei Souza, presents contemporary cuisine with a Mediterranean flair, served from breakfast through the city’s favorite Sunday Brunch. For more relaxed evenings, the Five Lounge Wine & Cocktail Bar offers fine wines, signature cocktails, and tapas in a chic setting.
Sustainability and Well-Being
Reflecting global wellness and sustainability trends, NH Collection Curitiba has upgraded its fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and introduced personalized wellness rituals, themed brunches, and a health-conscious menu featuring vegetarian, vegan, and functional options. The hotel has also strengthened its commitment to local sourcing, energy efficiency, and reducing plastic use, while celebrating Curitiba’s culture and traditions.
Prime Location
Situated in the lively Batel district, the hotel is surrounded by some of Curitiba’s best bars, restaurants, and nightlife, while remaining close to the financial district and cultural landmarks such as the Oscar Niemeyer Museum and the Botanical Garden.
“The transition to NH Collection is more than just a rebranding. The hotel has been completely transformed to reflect the brand’s essential values, which include meticulous attention to detail, personalized service, and a strong connection with local culture,” said Marco Amaral, Vice President of Operations and Development at Minor Hotels. “From booking to check-out, guests enjoy an exclusive experience — more connected, sensorial, and tailored to each person.”
With this launch, Minor Hotels sets a new benchmark in the Brazilian hospitality scene, positioning NH Collection Curitiba as both a business hub and a lifestyle destination.
