Minor Hotels has announced the development of a new global data and artificial intelligence platform in partnership with Google Cloud, Salesforce, OneTrust, and Deloitte as part of one of the largest technology investments in the company’s history.
The initiative represents a major milestone in the hotel group’s long-term digital transformation strategy and aims to position Minor Hotels as a global leader in AI-driven hospitality.
Global Platform To Connect More Than 640 Hotels
The new platform will unify guest data, marketing operations, and service processes across Minor Hotels’ global portfolio of more than 640 hotels worldwide.
The system is designed to create more personalised guest experiences by enabling the company to recognise customer preferences consistently across brands, destinations, and digital touchpoints.
The full implementation of the platform is scheduled for completion in 2026.
Google Cloud To Power AI Infrastructure
The technological foundation of the project will be built on Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure, including BigQuery and Vertex AI.
This will allow guest information from multiple brands and regions to be consolidated into a unified intelligence layer capable of supporting real-time personalisation and advanced automation.
Minor Hotels also plans to introduce agent-based AI systems capable of managing bookings, curating travel experiences, and responding to complex guest requests in real time.
Salesforce To Drive Customer Experience And Marketing
Salesforce will support AI-powered customer relationship management and marketing automation across the guest journey.
Using Salesforce Data 360, the platform will integrate and segment guest data in real time to improve customer engagement, unlock new revenue opportunities, and strengthen guest loyalty.
Data Privacy And Governance Integrated From Launch
OneTrust will oversee privacy management and governance structures to ensure compliance with international data protection requirements.
The company said privacy and consent management systems are being integrated directly into the platform architecture from the beginning of the project.
Deloitte Leading Strategic Integration
Deloitte is acting as the strategic implementation partner and will oversee the integration of the new technology ecosystem into Minor Hotels’ operational structure.
The consulting firm will help ensure AI systems are embedded into business processes, decision-making structures, and daily operations across the organisation.
Hospitality Industry Accelerates AI Transformation
Minor Hotels said the platform is designed independently from legacy systems, allowing the company to integrate modern generative AI technologies, intelligent agents, and automation tools more rapidly.
The initiative reflects the growing transformation of the global hospitality industry as hotel operators increasingly invest in AI-powered personalisation, automation, predictive customer engagement, and digital guest ecosystems.
Company executives said future competition in travel will increasingly depend on how effectively hospitality brands use data and AI to anticipate customer needs and manage guest relationships in real time.
