Hoi An’s hospitality landscape has been elevated with the debut of the Royal Garden – Thượng Uyển at Wafaifo Resort Hoi An, a refined enclave inspired by the timeless elegance of Vietnamese royal heritage and crafted for modern luxury travelers.
Upon arrival, guests are immersed in a serene setting of lotus ponds, lantern-lit courtyards, and winding stone paths that recall the poetic gardens of Hoi An’s storied past. Within this setting, 16 suites have been unveiled, spread across three categories: the Big Suite, the Bigger Suite, and the flagship Seagull Suite.
The Seagull Suite, the largest and most exclusive, serves as a private sanctuary, featuring an infrared sauna, steam facilities, a clawfoot bathtub, and panoramic views of the meticulously landscaped gardens. Each suite is detailed with bespoke touches, a private in-room bar, and a fully stocked wine fridge, delivering a seamless blend of indulgence and intimacy.
The next phase of the Royal Garden experience will introduce the Verita Health VIP Longevity Sanctuary, a pioneering wellness centre in Central Vietnam that integrates longevity science with athlete-grade recovery therapies. Highlights include hyperbaric oxygen chambers, floatation therapy, advanced IV infusions such as NAD+, infrared sauna, ice baths, NK cell therapy, and stem cell treatments. Designed for active travelers and wellness seekers alike, the centre positions Hoi An as a serious player in Asia’s health and longevity tourism market.
Culinary artistry will also be central to the Royal Garden journey. The soon-to-open Coi Nguon Restaurant will showcase a farm-to-table ethos, sourcing ingredients exclusively from the surrounding Hoi An region and the organic Tra Que Village. Dishes will celebrate authentic local flavors — from rice paddy snails to a deconstructed take on cao lầu noodles — elevating heritage cuisine into contemporary culinary experiences.
