Dusit International has expanded its presence in India with the signing of Dusit Princess Rishikesh, a new upscale hospitality development set to open in 2031 in the Himalayan foothills near one of the country’s most renowned wellness destinations.
Located close to Rishikesh, a city internationally known for spirituality, yoga, wellness retreats and adventure tourism, the project is designed to combine contemporary hospitality with immersive experiences inspired by the surrounding natural landscape.

Positioned amid the tranquil foothills of the Himalayas, Dusit Princess Rishikesh will offer a wellness-focused escape for both leisure and business travelers.
The mixed-use development has been carefully planned to blend with its natural surroundings while providing modern amenities and lifestyle experiences that reflect the region’s growing appeal among domestic and international visitors.
Rishikesh has become one of India’s leading wellness destinations, attracting travelers seeking yoga, meditation, outdoor adventures and spiritual experiences along the banks of the Ganges River.
300 Keys Including Luxury Villas
The development will comprise 300 keys, including a mix of hotel rooms and luxury duplex villas.
Guests will have access to a range of facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, business centre, outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, yoga room and flexible multipurpose event spaces.
The property is expected to cater to a broad mix of travelers, from wellness seekers and holidaymakers to corporate groups and event attendees.
Extensive Lifestyle And Recreation Facilities
A major highlight of the project will be its dedicated clubhouse, designed to provide a wide range of wellness, leisure and entertainment experiences.
Planned facilities include a full-service spa, infinity swimming pool, restaurant with seating for approximately 250 guests, squash court, mini-plex cinema, bowling alley and indoor gaming areas.
The combination of hospitality, wellness and recreational amenities aims to create a destination capable of supporting both short escapes and longer stays.
Strengthening Dusit’s India Expansion
The signing represents another milestone in Dusit International’s growing presence in India.
It follows the opening of dusitD2 Fagu, Shimla, in December 2024 and further strengthens the company’s development pipeline across the country.
