Hilton has opened Slohh by Roach in Bengaluru, marking the debut of its Curio Collection by Hilton brand in India and the companys first lifestyle hotel in the country.

The 221-room property is located in Whitefield, one of Bengalurus main business and technology districts. Hilton said the hotel was developed in partnership with the Roach Life Group and is designed to appeal to business and leisure travellers.

The opening gives Hilton a new foothold in one of Indias fastest-growing hotel markets at a time when global chains are expanding in major cities.

Hilton said the hotel blends local design with the brands global standards, positioning it as part of its wider push into premium lifestyle travel.

The company has been building its presence in India across multiple segments, from luxury to mid-market hotels, as demand rises in major urban centres and secondary cities.

Curio Collection by Hilton is a global portfolio of independent hotels that keep their own character while operating under the Hilton name. The Bengaluru opening is the first in India for the brand, which has grown in markets across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Whitefield has become a major destination for technology firms, office parks and business travellers. That has made it a key market for hotel operators seeking to capture demand from corporate visitors and international guests.
