Minor Hotels Adds Klarna Payment Options Ahead Of Summer Travel Season

Klarna has announced a new partnership with Minor Hotels that will allow travelers across Europe to use flexible payment options when booking hotel stays online.

The agreement launches ahead of the summer holiday season and introduces Klarna’s payment solutions across Minor Hotels’ portfolio in 13 European markets.

Flexible Payment Options Added For Hotel Guests

Guests booking directly through Minor Hotels platforms can now choose between paying in full at checkout or splitting the cost into three interest-free installments using Klarna. The companies said the partnership is designed to provide travelers with greater financial flexibility when planning vacations and larger travel purchases.

The rollout covers Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Finland and Ireland.

Raji Behal, Head of Southern and Western Europe, UK and Ireland at Klarna, said the partnership aims to simplify the travel booking process.
“Our partnership with Minor Hotels means guests can focus on the excitement of planning their trip, with payment options that fit around them,” Behal said.

Minor Hotels Operates More Than 640 Properties

Minor Hotels currently operates and develops more than 640 hotels, resorts and branded residences across 63 countries worldwide. Its hospitality portfolio includes brands such as Anantara, Tivoli, NH Collection, nhow, Avani, Oaks and Elewana Collection, alongside restaurants, wellness brands and travel experiences.

The company said the integration of Klarna aligns with evolving consumer demand for more flexible payment solutions in the travel and hospitality sector.

Travel Industry Increasingly Adopting Flexible Payments

The partnership reflects a broader trend across the travel industry as airlines, hotels and travel companies increasingly introduce buy now, pay later services and installment payment options.

Klarna has continued expanding its presence across travel and hospitality as consumers seek alternative ways to manage higher-value online purchases.

Minor Hotels now joins a growing list of hospitality brands integrating Klarna at checkout to support booking flexibility and improve customer purchasing options.
