Following February 24, the majority of international airlines ceased operations in Russia. However, as of June 2023, a total of 51 airlines are currently conducting flights to and from Russia.

The US authorities have blocked the possibility for the Turkish airline Southwind Airlines to operate flights to Russia using American Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
The first direct flight from Russia to Vietnam after the lifting of pandemic restrictions arrived in Hanoi on Sunday. The flight was operated by IrAero airline on the Irkutsk – Hanoi route using a Superjet 100 aircraft.
The first direct flight between Russia and Myanmar will be launched in July of this year, announced Kan Zaw, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations of Myanmar, during the SPIEF-2023.
