Iberia to Offer Direct Flights to Luanda

Iberia and TAAG Angolan Airlines enacted their codeshare agreement, which allows Iberia to offer direct flights between Madrid and Luanda and reinforce the airline’s connectivity between Europe and Africa.

Tickets for this destination are available for purchase from www.iberia.com and travel agents, with flights starting on 13 October. Between the two airlines, two weekly flights are offered.

In addition to the direct flights to Luanda, customers of the Spanish airline will be able to connect from the Angolan capital with Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa, Windhoek in Namibia, and Maputo in Mozambique.

Meanwhile, TAAG will offer its customers connections to Iberia flights from Madrid to Barcelona, Oporto, Amsterdam, Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Rome, and Milan.

This announcement comes as part of the shared objective between Spain and Angola to create new international commercial, economic, cultural and tourism opportunities.
