Altus Hospitality, the lifestyle division of Club Quarters Hotels, is set to debut its new hospitality brand, The Webster, with the opening of The Webster Covent Garden in London this autumn.
Located on Lincoln’s Inn Fields, the 167-room hotel will combine contemporary design, Italian-inspired dining, and cultural programming as part of a new lifestyle concept that will later expand to New York City.
A New Lifestyle Hotel in Covent Garden
The Webster Covent Garden has been designed by London-based architecture and interior design studio Red Deer.
Guest rooms feature warm neutral color palettes, textured plank flooring, hand-knotted wool rugs, bespoke brass and alabaster lighting, and custom artwork. Vintage-inspired touches include Marshall speakers, Jacob Jensen telephones, traditional alarm clocks, and carefully selected books.
Bathrooms are finished with terrazzo flooring, ceramic wall tiles in natural tones, brushed-nickel Kohler fixtures, and softly illuminated mirrors.
Italian-Inspired Dining Concepts
The hotel will offer three food and beverage venues inspired by Italy.
The signature restaurant, Carmelina’s, will occupy the lower level and combine Italian cuisine with a speakeasy atmosphere, featuring deep red velvet interiors, a sculptural hammered-gold bar, and live jazz performances in the evenings.
Guests will also find an all-day café and aperitivo bar in the lobby and terrace, while the lower level will house Carla’s List, a late-night venue inspired by the Italian disco scene.
Culture at the Heart of the Brand
Beyond accommodation and dining, The Webster plans to host a year-round program of cultural events designed to connect guests with London’s creative community.
Planned activities include literary salons, artist residencies, live music performances, and collaborations with neighborhood organizations and local creatives.
Brand Expansion Continues
The Webster Covent Garden marks the launch of Altus Hospitality’s new lifestyle brand, with a second property scheduled to open in New York City in 2027.
The company says the brand has been created to encourage meaningful social interaction through thoughtfully designed spaces, cultural experiences, and hospitality centered on community.
The Webster Covent Garden will open in autumn 2026 and is already accepting reservations, with room rates starting from £350 per night.
