The St. Regis London to Debut in Mayfair With Luxury Redesign

Marriott International is preparing to introduce The St. Regis London, bringing the luxury brand’s signature blend of bespoke service, refined design and cultural sophistication to one of the capital’s most prestigious addresses in Mayfair.

The new hotel represents a complete transformation of the former Westbury Hotel and has been designed to reinterpret the vision of John Jacob Astor IV, founder of the original St. Regis New York, for contemporary London. Inspired by Astor’s philosophy of residential-style luxury, the property combines historic prestige with modern elegance in the heart of one of the city’s most exclusive neighbourhoods.

A New Luxury Landmark for Mayfair

Located in Mayfair, The St. Regis London places guests within walking distance of Bond Street, Savile Row, Green Park and some of London’s most celebrated cultural, shopping and dining destinations.

The redevelopment has significantly expanded the hotel, adding new floors, larger public areas and enhanced guest facilities. The property will feature 193 guestrooms, including 66 suites, alongside two exclusive wellness suites designed to offer elevated privacy and relaxation.

At the top of the building, the Penthouse Suite will serve as the hotel’s signature accommodation. Featuring a private 150-square-metre terrace and panoramic 360-degree views across London, the suite promises one of the city’s most impressive luxury hospitality experiences.

Design Inspired by Mayfair’s Creative Heritage

The interiors have been created by renowned design studio Richmond International, drawing inspiration from the distinctive character of Mayfair.

Throughout the hotel, guests will discover references to the bespoke tailoring of Savile Row, the elegance of Bond Street’s luxury fashion houses and the artistic legacy of the area’s galleries and auction rooms.

The result is a sophisticated residential atmosphere that balances classic British craftsmanship with contemporary luxury, creating spaces that feel both timeless and distinctly London.

Daniel Rose Brings French Gastronomy to London

A major highlight of the hotel will be the launch of Le Perroquet, an all-day French brasserie led by acclaimed chef Daniel Rose.

The restaurant marks Rose’s first venture in London following his success in Paris with La Bourse et La Vie and in New York with the Michelin-starred Le Coucou.

Le Perroquet is expected to become a destination in its own right, combining classic French culinary traditions with a modern interpretation tailored to London’s international dining scene.

More Than 1,000 Works of Art Across the Hotel

Art will play a central role in the guest experience at The St. Regis London.

For the first time, the Sarabande Foundation’s House of Bandits gallery will curate an entire hotel art collection, transforming the property into a living gallery featuring more than 1,000 artworks created by over 80 artists.

The Sarabande Foundation was established by the late fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen to support emerging creative talent. Through this partnership, guests will encounter specially commissioned works displayed throughout guestrooms, suites and public spaces.

Each artwork has been created with inspiration drawn from both the destination and the hotel’s own history, creating a unique cultural narrative woven throughout the property.

Signature St. Regis Service at the Core

At the heart of the guest experience will be the brand’s legendary St. Regis Butler Service, a hallmark of the luxury hotel group for more than a century.

Every stay will be supported by a dedicated butler trained to anticipate guests’ needs and provide highly personalised service, from unpacking and garment pressing to bespoke arrangements and special requests.

This tradition of anticipatory hospitality remains one of the defining features of the St. Regis brand and reflects its commitment to delivering an exceptional level of luxury.

Bringing St. Regis Elegance to Central London

With its combination of luxury accommodations, curated art collection, world-class dining and personalised service, The St. Regis London aims to establish itself as one of the capital’s most prestigious hotel openings.

Set within the refined surroundings of Mayfair, the property will blend London’s cultural heritage with the timeless traditions of St. Regis, creating a distinctive destination for both international travellers and local visitors seeking an elevated hospitality experience.
