TIS2025 and ITH Join Forces to Host PacTS4ALL International Conference in Seville

The TIS-Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) and the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH) have signed a collaboration agreement to host the PacTS4ALL (Pact for Tourism Skills Forward Alliance) International Conference as part of the TIS2025 program. The event will take place from October 22 to 24 at FIBES – Seville, bringing together tourism professionals, executives, and innovators from across Europe.

Within the European PacTS4ALL consortium, ITH plays a pivotal role in ensuring that project results move beyond theoretical concepts and are translated into practical, scalable solutions for the tourism sector. This effort aims to strengthen the upskilling and reskilling of Spanish talent and facilitate its transfer to the broader European tourism ecosystem.

For its part, TIS2025 consolidates its position as a benchmark platform for tourism professionals seeking to enhance the competitiveness of their businesses and destinations. By partnering with ITH, TIS reinforces its commitment to promoting an innovative, inclusive, and talent-oriented tourism ecosystem.

PacTS4ALL, supported by the European Commission, serves as the key instrument for the Pact for Skills for Tourism initiative. It unites a transnational network of organizations dedicated to improving the skills of tourism professionals. The project fosters a unified European approach to tourism training, promoting the exchange of best practices, the development of National or Regional Skills Partnerships (NRSPs), and a series of parallel events, networking opportunities, and industry connections.

“This agreement between ITH and TIS represents a key step for the European tourism sector, highlighting Spanish best practices and success stories as benchmarks for adoption by other entities in the European training and tourism ecosystem,” said Álvaro Carrillo de Albornoz, Managing Director at ITH. He added, “The PacTS4ALL International Conference within TIS provides a unique space for knowledge exchange, synergy creation, and alliances that enhance competitiveness and talent mobility across Europe.”

Silvia Avilés, Director at TIS, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership: “Having ITH and the PacTS4ALL network on board is essential for placing training and talent development at the center of the TIS2025 agenda. Our goal is to make Seville the European epicenter for sharing real, scalable, and sustainable solutions that help destinations and companies anticipate future challenges and lead the way in smarter, more digital, and responsible tourism.”

The PacTS4ALL International Conference will give over 8,000 TIS2025 attendees an integrated view of community tourism training initiatives, sector challenges, and solutions in skills development. Spanish success stories in artificial intelligence, sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and technology-driven talent development will be highlighted, offering a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and public-private collaboration.

The event aligns with the objectives of the Pact for Skills for Tourism, supporting the competitiveness, adaptability, and cohesion of European tourism talent while demonstrating actionable solutions to meet future industry challenges.
