S7 Airlines has introduced a new uniform for its cabin crew, reimagining the traditional business suit through the lens of work-life balance. The collection takes the shape of a capsule wardrobe, with mix-and-match pieces designed to create multiple looks while maintaining a unified brand style.
The concept was developed by the S7 Airlines team led by Maria Fileva, shareholder and deputy CEO for marketing and PR, with fashion consultant and stylist Alexey Sukharev advising on the overall aesthetic.
The uniforms feature a dark graphite base color, accented by soft green lines with rounded edges — a metaphor for the runway. Classic accessories such as hats, neck scarves, and stiff collars have been dropped in favor of functional, modern details that emphasize comfort and practicality.
For women, the collection’s highlight is a semi-fitted dress with contrasting yokes, while both men’s and women’s capsules include trousers, blazers, vests, long-sleeves, T-shirts, and an Italian wool half-zip sweater. Thanks to the capsule concept, female crew members can create up to 17 different looks, while male colleagues can style 13 variations.
The uniforms are crafted in Turkey from premium local fabrics — a blend of wool, elastane, and poly-viscose that helps regulate body temperature, keeping crew comfortable in both summer and winter. This versatility means there’s no longer a need for separate seasonal uniforms.
In line with the airline’s new approach, sneakers replace formal shoes, reflecting both the modern capsule aesthetic and a focus on comfort.
