Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi has officially debuted a world-first collaboration with Hedley Studios, unveiling a Ferrari Testa Rossa J on its ultra-exclusive Ithaafushi Private Island, in what has become a standout moment in the resort’s celebration of luxury, art, and design.
In a striking fusion of automotive heritage and tropical opulence, the hand-built Silver Ferrari Testa Rossa J—one of just 299 ever made—has taken up residence on the island as both a collector’s item and a guest experience. Designed as a 75% scale replica of the legendary 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, this limited-edition vehicle brings classic motorsport elegance to the palm-lined pathways of paradise.
Throughout the 2025 season, guests staying on Ithaafushi Private Island have been offered the chance to drive the Testa Rossa J—a first-of-its-kind automotive art experience in the Maldives. More than a static display, the car has become a functional element of the island’s curated lifestyle, with guests invited to take it for a spin en route to breakfast, events, or simply for the joy of driving a masterpiece.

Guests have been able to explore the bespoke possibilities of ordering their own Testa Rossa J, starting at USD 150,000, with customization guided directly by Hedley Studios’ expert team.
The collaboration has further elevated the island’s status as a haven for collectors, connoisseurs, and design aficionados, with the Testa Rossa J making appearances during private functions, seasonal celebrations, and curated island showcases.
