IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a partnership with Roxy-Pacific Holdings Pte Ltd, a leading real estate and hospitality company in the Asia-Pacific region, to bring its Vignette Collection brand to the Maldives.
This conversion deal will see the Noku Maldives resort on the picturesque island of Kudafunafaru join IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, one of the largest in the world. The 50-key private villa resort will undergo refurbishment and be rebranded as Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection, with a planned relaunch in December 2024.
The Vignette Collection is a family of unique, one-of-a-kind properties, each with its own identity, yet all united by the brand’s vision to offer a more authentic travel experience, backed by the trusted reputation of IHG and its leading loyalty program.
Located on an island with a land area of almost 90,000 square meters, Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection features 30 overwater villas and 20 beachfront villas, most equipped with private pools. With the smallest villa spanning 175 square meters, the resort offers some of the largest accommodations in the Maldives, making it an ideal destination for couples, friends, and families seeking unforgettable stays.
The resort’s facilities include two restaurants and bars, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a spa, a retail outlet, and a diving and watersports center, offering guests the opportunity to explore the region’s rich marine life, including grey reef sharks, stingrays, and sea turtles.
IHG launched the Vignette Collection in August 2021 as a luxury brand designed to provide a unique price point and complement its existing Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, which includes brands like InterContinental and Six Senses. This latest addition in the Maldives marks a significant expansion of the Vignette Collection into one of the world’s most sought-after luxury destinations.
