Hotel Louis Vuitton to Open on Champs-Élysées in 2026

Hotel Louis Vuitton is set to become Paris’s most anticipated luxury opening when it welcomes guests in 2026 on the prestigious Champs-Élysées. Blending French heritage with contemporary elegance, the hotel promises a new kind of hospitality experience, reflecting the storied fashion house’s signature blend of tradition and innovation.

Occupying a prime location at 103–111 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the new hotel will span 6,000 square meters, transforming a historic 19th-century building into an immersive Louis Vuitton experience. The façade, already wrapped in an oversized LV trunk installation during construction, signals the maison’s deep connection to travel and luxury — and is drawing attention from locals and tourists alike.

The site itself carries a remarkable history. Originally built in 1896, the building was once the Hôtel de l’Élysée, before becoming a wartime headquarters and, more recently, the offices of HSBC. Notably, it was the site of Mata Hari’s arrest in 1917, adding a layer of intrigue to its storied past. During World War II, the building was occupied by Nazi forces — a reminder of the tumultuous history embedded in many of Paris’s grand façades. Louis Vuitton’s decision to return the building to its original function as a hotel pays homage to this history, while also marking a bold step forward for the brand.

This project is part of Louis Vuitton’s broader strategy to expand into hospitality, following the success of its luxury cafés and restaurants. Highlights include Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton, the patisserie collaboration in Paris, and the seasonal Louis Vuitton restaurant in Saint-Tropez. These ventures suggest that the brand is not simply experimenting with lifestyle offerings but is committed to redefining what it means to experience Louis Vuitton beyond the boutique.

The hotel aims to embody the “art de vivre” that defines French luxury, promising thoughtful design, curated cultural experiences, and service that mirrors the maison’s dedication to craftsmanship. While exact details about the interior or amenities have not yet been released, the scale of the project and the symbolism of its address indicate something far beyond a typical fashion-branded property.

The choice of the Champs-Élysées is not only strategic but also symbolic. Long known as the beating heart of Parisian elegance and retail, the avenue is evolving. The arrival of Hotel Louis Vuitton reinforces the Champs-Élysées as a modern center for luxury, not just commerce. It’s a sign that global fashion brands are now fully embracing hospitality as part of their identity.

As 2026 approaches, anticipation will likely build, especially among travelers seeking not just accommodation, but a destination that represents style, history, and culture — all wrapped into one address. With Hotel Louis Vuitton, the City of Light gains a new landmark that honors the past while shaping the future of luxury travel.
