Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Beldersoy Resort and SPA, the first Destination by Hyatt property in Uzbekistan and the country’s first premium mountain resort. Located in the Beldersoy mountains within the Chimgan-Bostanliq region, the resort combines luxury accommodation, wellness experiences and year-round outdoor activities.
The opening marks Hyatt’s latest expansion in Central Asia and reflects the growing popularity of Uzbekistan as an international tourism destination.
Luxury Mountain Escape Near Tashkent
Surrounded by the alpine landscapes of the Chimgan mountains, Beldersoy Resort and SPA offers direct access to ski slopes, gondolas, hiking trails and mountain biking routes, making it a year-round destination for adventure and relaxation.
The resort is also conveniently located near Charvak Lake, the mountain village of Chimgan and Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent.
Accommodation includes 109 guestrooms and 36 private villas, each offering panoramic mountain views. Interiors blend contemporary design with locally inspired artwork and natural materials that reflect the colours and textures of the surrounding landscape.
Mountain Wellness with Thalasso Inspiration
Wellness is a central feature of the resort, introducing a unique mountain interpretation of Thalasso-inspired therapies traditionally associated with coastal destinations.
The spa includes a seawater indoor pool enriched with mineral salts, a magnesium floating pool, an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the mountains, treatment rooms, fitness facilities and dedicated spaces for relaxation and recovery.
The wellness programme is designed to provide guests with a holistic retreat focused on relaxation, health and outdoor living.
Dining Inspired by Local and International Flavours
The resort features two restaurants and a lobby lounge led by an international culinary team.
Nafis serves seasonal dishes throughout the day, while Fire & Ice specialises in premium meats paired with curated vodka selections. Together, the venues offer a combination of Uzbek influences and international cuisine in a mountain setting.
Meetings and Events in the Mountains
Beldersoy Resort and SPA also caters to weddings, corporate events and conferences with two meeting rooms and a large ballroom named after the Tian Shan mountain range.
Set against dramatic mountain scenery, the resort offers an alternative to traditional city venues, combining modern event facilities with opportunities for team-building and outdoor experiences.
