Kyrgyz airline Asman Airlines is planning to launch new passenger flights between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan as part of a wider expansion of regional air connectivity in Central Asia.
The plans were discussed during a meeting held on 15 May 2026 between representatives of Asman Airlines and Uzbekistan Airports.
During the talks, the airline presented proposals for new regular services linking Tashkent International Airport with several destinations across Kyrgyzstan.

The first planned route will operate between Tashkent and Tamchy, the airport serving the Issyk-Kul region.
The launch is provisionally scheduled for 24 June 2026.
Flights are expected to be operated using Dash 8 Q400 turboprop aircraft.
The new connection is aimed at supporting both tourism and growing business and family travel demand between the two neighbouring countries.

Asman Airlines also revealed plans to further expand its route network from Tashkent later in the year.
Flights between Tashkent and Osh are expected to launch during autumn 2026.

In addition, the possibility of opening flights between Tashkent and Bishkek is currently under discussion.
Regional Uzbekistan Airports Could Also Receive Flights
The meeting also focused on the future development of regional air services between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Officials discussed the potential launch of international routes from Kyrgyzstan to regional Uzbek airports including Andijan, Fergana and Namangan.
The expansion of regional connectivity is expected to improve accessibility between border regions while supporting tourism, trade and economic cooperation.
