Oman Air has announced a rebranding of its First Class service, replacing it with a new Business Class offering called “Business Studio,” which will be available on flights to Bangkok and London starting September 9.
Currently, the airline offers First Class on only two of its nine Boeing 787 aircraft, each equipped with a cabin featuring eight seats arranged in two rows.
The airline assures that the new onboard service will not compromise the spacious cabin layout, classic reclining seats, or access to Wi-Fi. Additionally, Oman Air promises “more competitive fares and a new approach to service.”
“Demand for First Class has declined, and after a thorough market analysis, we decided to phase it out. This shift allows us to focus on providing Business Class services that better meet the expectations of modern travelers,” said Oman Air CEO Con Korfiatis.
The new Business Studio will feature the widest seats in the world, measuring 208 cm, with individual partitions, 23-inch personal screens, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a menu-based service.
