Tashkent International Airport is continuing to expand its international route network with the launch of new direct flights by Oman Air between Muscat and Tashkent from 2 June 2026.
The new route will be operated by the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman and marks another step in strengthening air connectivity between Uzbekistan and the Middle East.
Flights To Operate Three Times Weekly
According to the airport announcement, Oman Air will operate the Muscat – Tashkent – Muscat route three times per week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The airline plans to use Boeing 737 aircraft on the service.
The launch is expected to improve travel options for both leisure and business passengers while increasing direct connectivity between Central Asia and the Gulf region.
Expanded Transit Opportunities Through Muscat
Tashkent International Airport said the new flights will also provide passengers with additional transit opportunities through Muscat International Airport.
Travellers will gain access to convenient onward connections to destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe through Oman Air’s growing international network.
The route expansion reflects increasing demand for international travel in Central Asia as regional airports continue working to attract new foreign airlines and improve global connectivity.
