LOT Polish Airlines Launches Direct Flights to Tenerife

This year’s autumn with LOT Polish Airlines promises to be exceptionally sunny. On November 27, the first LOT Polish Airlines plane, on flight LO441, will depart from Warsaw to Tenerife. Connections on this route will be operated in both directions three times a week – on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Towards the Canary Islands, the Polish carrier will invite its passengers on board Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft at 7:50, while on the return journey it will take passengers in the afternoon, at 13:55 local time. Covering this distance will take about 6 hours. Tenerife is another destination in the national carrier’s network of connections, which is part of the strategy for 2024-2028.

The Spanish island located in the Canary Islands archipelago is the showcase of this region. Thanks to its unique climate, it is often called the “Island of Eternal Spring”, because the conditions for enjoying its charms are ideal all year round. This extraordinary place on the Atlantic Ocean combines surprising landscapes and attractive tourist infrastructure. The southern part is characterized by high sunlight, sandy beaches and rocky and precipitous shores. In the north, you can experience the view of tropical vegetation or charming bays.

Tenerife is a great option for all travelers looking for a sunny holiday in the autumn and winter season. Thanks to the new connection of LOT Polish Airlines, passengers will be able to move to the Canary Islands in a few hours. A favourable climate, picturesque mountain ranges and wide beaches are just a few of the characteristic features of Tenerife, which make it worth visiting. I am convinced that the variety of attractions offered by this island will make LOT Polish Airlines passengers love our new destination  – says Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines.

When visiting Tenerife, it is definitely worth visiting the Teide National Park, which is one of the most visited national parks in Europe. Its main attraction is the Pico del Teide volcano, measuring 3,718 meters high, called the “roof” of Spain. Unique flora and fauna have also found their place on Earth here, and 58 of the over 150 species of plants found here can only be seen in the Canary Islands. Due to its geographical location and the clarity of the sky, Tenerife, with its volcanic peak, is one of the best places in the world for stargazing.

Tenerife also offers many fascinating monuments that attract history and architecture lovers from all over the world. San Cristóbal de La Laguna is the only colonial city without walls, and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the virtually unchanged layout of its 15th-century buildings. A walk among other monuments, such as the buildings of the old town, is worth finishing with a visit to “Guachinche” – a traditional restaurant serving typical dishes of the local cuisine, which combines regional flavours with an avant-garde touch.

Tickets for flights from Warsaw to Tenerife are available in all sales channels, including lot.com, LOT Contact Center and LOT Travel offices.
