Accor has announced a new agreement with Q Real Estate Development Company to open the Novotel Sidi Abd El Rahman on the North Mediterranean coast of Egypt. The hotel is scheduled to launch in 2027.
Accessible within 1 hour and 30 minutes from Alexandria’s Borg El Arab International Airport and 3 hours by car from Cairo, the low-rise Novotel Sidi Abd El Rahman will feature 240 rooms. The property will boast a restaurant, a café, poolside and rooftop bars with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The project will also include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a spa, an outdoor swimming pool, and courts for padel tennis, a sport rapidly gaining popularity in the region.
For events and conferences, the hotel will offer a 600 square meter ballroom and four 50 square meter conference rooms.
Currently, Accor manages 24 premium, midscale, and economy hotels in Egypt, totaling over 5,000 keys. Additionally, the company oversees 40 luxury and lifestyle properties with more than 12,000 rooms.
Recently, Accor announced plans to introduce two new Swissôtel properties on Egypt’s North Coast: Swissôtel Hotel Ras El Hekma and Swissôtel Residences Ras El Hekma.
