From September 10, Southwind Airlines began operating flights on the route Antalya – Moscow (Sheremetyevo) – Antalya. Prior to this, a new Turkish airline flew to Turkey only from the regions of Russia.
The opening of regular flights by Southwind Airlines will meet the high demand among Russian passengers on the Moscow-Antalya route.
Southwind Airlines was created on the initiative of the Turkish authorities to serve the Russian market. The base airport is located in Antalya. The fleet is made up of Airbus aircraft. The first flights started from the regions of Russia in mid-August.
Now, in addition to Moscow, Southwind Airlines in the summer schedule (until October) flies to Turkey from 7 cities of St. Petersburg, Kazan, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, as well as Perm and Chelyabinsk.
