Russian tourism authorities have developed new tourist routes as the country’s invasion of Ukraine has limited Russians’ international travel options.
One of them will take travelers to some of President Vladimir Putin ’s holiday destinations.
“The route “Siberian Holidays” is an absolutely special route, which really has no analogs. It runs through the territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia, and Tyva”.
It combines incredibly beautiful nature, the very bright ethnicity of the Siberian peoples, unique artifacts – Scythian gold, grandiose tombs of the leaders of the prehistoric kingdoms of the Middle Yenisei, religious places of Buddhism in Tuva, and much, much more.
The duration of the route is eight days, its length is about 1.2 thousand km.
The route “Siberian holidays” is still different from the presidential one. No one will let tourists into those places. Just nearby.
“We tried to bring it as close as possible, but these are still not the same vacation places.”
The head of the department also presented the tour routes “The Sovereign Road” – between St. Petersburg and Moscow, “Zhiguli Weekend” – in the Samara Region, “Kuzbass – Fire in the Heart” and “Here the Day Begins” on Sakhalin Island.
