Rossiya Airlines, a member of the Aeroflot group, starts operating regular flights from St. Petersburg to the Republic of Dagestan. Departure from Pulkovo airport is scheduled for 10:55, arrival in Makhachkala – at 14:20. The return flight from Makhachkala will depart at 15:20, arrival in St. Petersburg – at 18:45. The times are local for each airport. Airbus A319 aircraft will be operated on the line.
At the initial stage of the program, flights are operated four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. At the end of April, the frequency of flights will increase with another flight on Saturdays. In May, flights of Rossiya in this direction will become daily. The first flight showed a great demand for this direction among the residents of Dagestan. Despite the non-working day, the economy class in the direction from Makhachkala was 96% full.
