Rossiya Airlines will start operating daily regular flights from Moscow to Astrakhan and Voronezh from February 1, 2021. Flights are planned from Sheremetyevo airport. They will be operated on Superjet 100 aircraft. The airliners are designed to carry 87 passengers: 12 in business class and 75 in economy class. The planes will fly to Astrakhan three times a day. According to the schedule, departures from Sheremetyevo Airport at 09:40, 15:25 and 22:20 with arrival in Astrakhan at 13:10, 18:50 and 01:50, respectively. Flights from Astrakhan depart at 06:00, 14:00 and 19:50 and arrive in Moscow at 07:30, 15:35 and 21:30.
Flights to Voronezh are planned twice a day – in the morning and in the evening. The morning flight, which will depart from Sheremetyevo at 08:35, will arrive in Voronezh at 10:00. Departure in the evening – at 18:40 with arrival in Voronezh at 20:05. Flights from Voronezh depart at 10:50 and 20:55 and arrive in Moscow at 12:20 and 22:30, respectively. The times are local for each airport.
The opening of flights to Astrakhan and Voronezh is in line with the strategic goal of Rossiya Airlines aimed at improving the transport accessibility of the regions and increasing the mobility of the population.
The expansion of Rossiya’s route network from Moscow is proceeding in accordance with the strategy of the Aeroflot group, as a result of which the airline’s fleet is replenished with domestic-made Superjet 100 aircraft. The commissioning of new airliners makes it possible not only to expand the regional flight map, but also to draw up a schedule in this way that it becomes convenient for passengers to continue their journey to other cities of the route network of “Russia” and “Aeroflot” with a connection in Moscow.
