Avianca and TAP Air Portugal have signed a codeshare agreement, which will provide seamless connectivity to passengers traveling between Colombia and Portugal, allowing them the possibility to explore both airlines extensive network. The partnership will facilitate and increase the flow of traffic both leisure as well as business and will promote trade, tourism and culture between both countries.
This codeshare agreement will allow Avianca travelers to have access to more travel options between both countries through the following routes operated by TAP: Lisbon-London-Lisbon, Lisbon-Munich-Lisbon, Lisbon-Madrid-Lisbon, Lisbon-Barcelona-Lisbon and Porto-Madrid-Porto. Likewise, TAP clients will have access to Avianca’s routes, connecting several Colombian cities with Portuguese market: Miami-Bogotá-Miami, Miami-Cali-Miami and New York-Bogotá-New York and very soon Miami-Medellín-Miami, by placing their ‘TP’ and “AV commercial code on both airlines’ flights.
