Russian airlines may resume flights to Indonesia and explore the possibility of initiating flights to the Philippines, announced Vitaly Savelyev, the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and members of the Russian government. This was reported by TASS.
“Russian airlines are working on the possibility of opening direct flights to the Philippines and resuming direct flights to Indonesia,” stated Savelyev.
Speaking about passenger transportation during the upcoming New Year holidays, the minister noted that more than 18 million passengers are planned to be transported during the fall-winter period, which is 7% more than during the same period in 2022.
