Situated in the Grzegórzki district, the newly inaugurated MEININGER Hotel Kraków Centrum offers 135 rooms accommodating a total of 507 guests. Travelers will discover a diverse range of room options, from private en-suite rooms to spacious shared accommodations. Whether it’s families, solo adventurers, backpackers, business travelers, or school groups, the flexible bed arrangements cater to the needs of all types of guests. Staying true to the MEININGER ethos, the hotel in Poland boasts an array of amenities, including a guest kitchen, complimentary baby cots, expansive communal spaces, a gaming zone, a children’s play corner, a lobby, a bar, lockers, as well as laundry facilities with washing machines and dryers.

“Flow of Creation” Design Aims to Ignite Wanderlust

The hotel’s design, centered around the “Flow of Creation” theme, is meant to evoke a sense of wanderlust and inspire unforgettable experiences. It encourages guests to think outside the box. Tobias Düssel, Regional Director at MEININGER Hotels, notes, “Our unique establishment in the vibrant Grzegórzki neighborhood offers something for every traveler, be it a weekend getaway, business trip, or school excursion. Yet, in line with our motto ‘step out and explore,’ we want to inspire our guests to uncover the beauty of Krakow and create lasting memories. The MEININGER Kraków Centrum serves as the perfect launchpad for such adventures.”

Location and Surroundings – Welcome to Poland!

Nestled to the east of the old town, amidst a cluster of historic houses, the MEININGER Kraków Centrum enjoys proximity to the main train station, which is within walking distance. From there, a new train line extends to Rudzice. The Grzegórzki district exudes a lively and welcoming ambiance, offering a host of modern conveniences. The hotel is just a stone’s throw from the city center, granting easy access to Krakow’s top attractions, a wealth of cultural and culinary delights, and shopping opportunities galore. Directly across from the hotel stands the Hala Targowa (flea market), and nearby, you’ll find the opera house, the botanical garden, and the Jagiellonian University, where Nicolaus Copernicus once studied. For a culinary treat, look no further than the iconic Blue Nysa Van (Kiełbaski z Niebieskiej Nyski), renowned for serving Krakow’s finest Kiełbasa (sausage)!

Good Things Come in Threes – MEININGER’s Ongoing Expansion

The opening of the MEININGER Hotel Kraków Centrum marks the third inauguration for MEININGER in 2023. Earlier this year, the MEININGER Venezia Mestre Hotel joined the portfolio, and on September 21st, the MEININGER Hotel Cologne West opened its doors. Ajit Menon, CEO at MEININGER Hotels, expresses the company’s excitement, stating, “We are delighted to bring the proven and successful MEININGER hybrid hotel concept to new markets, like Poland, expanding our footprint across Europe.” Looking ahead, MEININGER has plans to continue its expansion into more new markets, with upcoming hotel openings in Barcelona, Spain, and Tel Aviv.
