Samsonite has unveiled the Zipprix FT collection, a new range of smart luggage featuring a built-in Bluetooth tracker that allows travelers to locate their suitcase without needing a separate tracking device.

The integrated Waypoint smart tag is compatible with both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, enabling users to track their luggage through their smartphone, receive notifications if a bag is left behind, play a sound to locate it nearby, and share its location with others if needed.

Built-In Luggage Tracking

Unlike standalone Bluetooth trackers that require separate charging and placement inside a suitcase, Waypoint is integrated directly into the luggage. Samsonite says location data is encrypted through Apple and Google’s respective networks, and the company does not have access to users’ tracking information.

If a suitcase is lost, owners can also display a contact message for anyone who finds it, helping improve the chances of recovery.

Designed for Business and Leisure Travelers

The 55cm carry-on model includes a front-access compartment with a dedicated 14-inch laptop sleeve, allowing travelers to quickly remove electronics during airport security checks. A top-opening design provides easy access to belongings in confined spaces, while an expandable main compartment offers additional packing capacity.

The luggage is constructed from high-grade polycarbonate and features double ball-bearing wheels, an anti-theft security zipper and a TSA-approved combination lock.

Three Sizes Available

The Zipprix FT collection is available in three sizes: a 55cm carry-on, a 68cm checked suitcase and a 75cm checked suitcase. All models are offered in a gunmetal finish.

Prices start at A$549 for the carry-on, A$635 for the 68cm model and A$699 for the 75cm version. Complimentary personalization is included with each purchase.
