According to Forbes Advisor, a leading travel authority, airlines and airports have seen their reputations tarnished by a significant rise in delayed and canceled flights, skyrocketing airfare, and, of course, the ever-present frustration of lost or damaged baggage.
To identify the airports and airlines notorious for mishandled luggage, Forbes Advisor utilized data from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). They compared the 100 busiest airports in the United States across four key metrics related to baggage handling.
