A new premium resort complex with more than 1,600 apartments is set to rise on the western coast of Crimea as developers move forward with a large-scale hospitality and wellness project in the city of Saki.
The resort, named “Sandsara,” will be developed with investments exceeding 12 billion rubles and is expected to become one of the region’s largest coastal tourism projects.
Large-Scale Resort Planned In Two Phases
The Sandsara complex will be built in two stages and will include five residential buildings containing a total of 1,647 apartments.
Apartment sizes are expected to range from 27 to 131 square metres, targeting both private owners and investment buyers.
The project is being developed by construction company Aspekta, which has already begun construction works on the site.
Wellness And Sports Facilities Included
The premium development will feature extensive resort infrastructure focused on wellness, leisure and sports.
Plans include a restaurant cluster, a spa complex and a dedicated sleep and recovery centre.
The sports facilities will include a fitness club, football and basketball courts, a skate park and outdoor yoga and training areas.
Developers also confirmed that the resort will include a landscaped private beach area and a secluded park for guests and residents.
Two heated outdoor swimming pools designed for year-round use are also planned within the central courtyard areas.
Managed Under Cosmos Hotels Standards
Operations at the complex will be managed by Intermark Residence according to the standards of the federal hospitality brand Cosmos Hotels.
The project is positioned both as a premium holiday destination and as an investment-oriented resort property development.
Construction Work Already Underway
Developers said preparatory work on the construction site has already been completed and the project has entered its main structural phase.
Current work includes reinforcement of the lower framework for Building C1, while construction teams are simultaneously developing the foundation platform that will support future buildings and landscaped public areas.
The first construction phase of the Sandsara resort complex is scheduled for completion in 2029.
