Air Canada has taken storytelling to the skies with a brand-new “Zootopia 2” themed aircraft, celebrating Walt Disney Animation Studios’ highly anticipated sequel – set to hit theatres on November 26.
The special livery, featured on an Airbus A220 (Fin 138), will turn heads at airports across Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York LaGuardia, Denver, and Boston. It’s a flying tribute to the world of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, inviting travelers to rediscover the joy of imagination and adventure.
“This special livery is an exciting addition to our broader Disney relationship. It reminds us that travel, like storytelling, is about imagination, connection, and a little bit of magic,” said Andy Shibata, Vice President of Brand at Air Canada. “We’re proud to share this moment with Disney fans and families who love the adventure of travel.”
Disney fans will also get the chance to win their own wild adventure – one of two vacations to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida – through an Aeroplan Members contest. Winners will experience Zootopia: Better Zoogether, a new 4D show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park that brings the movie’s charm to life.
“This collaboration invites fans to embark on an unforgettable journey where storytelling meets travel,” added Quincy Kelman, Vice President of Marketing for Walt Disney Studios Canada.
The “Zootopia 2” livery marks Air Canada’s third Disney-themed aircraft, following the “Turning Red” A220 in 2022 and the “Wish” Dreamliner in 2023.
“Zootopia 2” opens only in theatres on November 26, with tickets available now.
