Wrocław Airport Breaks Records in October

October 2025 turned out to be one of the busiest and most remarkable months in the history of Wrocław Airport. Despite the temporary suspension of flight operations from October 26 due to a major expansion phase of its operational section, the airport still served an impressive 416,360 passengers – a 4.6% increase compared to the same month last year.

For just 25 days of operation, the result is exceptional. Italian destinations dominated the charts, with Rome, Milan, and Bologna proving to be travelers’ top choices. Flights to Paris and Malta also attracted large numbers of passengers, reflecting the growing appeal of leisure travel across Europe this autumn.

October also marked a milestone moment – Wrocław Airport welcomed its 4.5 millionth passenger of 2025, setting a new all-time record.

“The increase in passenger numbers, even though we operated for only 25 days, gives us great satisfaction,” said Karol Przywara, CEO of Wrocław Airport. “It confirms that the expansion of our route network, developed in cooperation with airlines, continues to meet strong demand from the region’s residents and is gaining recognition beyond Poland. Based on September data, Wrocław Airport ranks first among mid-sized airports in the European Union in terms of passenger traffic growth.”

Charter flights also performed strongly, recording an average load factor of 89%. Alongside ever-popular routes to Turkey and Egypt, travelers increasingly opted for exotic destinations such as Kenya and Tunisia, confirming the continued appetite for warm-weather getaways.
