Air Canada has launched a new shuttle service linking downtown Montreal with Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), expanding its multi-modal partnership with The Landline Company and making airport transfers more convenient for passengers.
The new Air Canada City Shuttle connects the Palais des congrès de Montréal with the airport and is available to customers travelling on the same day on an Air Canada-operated flight.
The service forms part of the airline’s growing investment in integrated air-and-ground transport solutions, complementing its existing Landline motorcoach network serving several Canadian communities.
Frequent departures throughout the day
The shuttle operates with 37 daily departures using luxury motorcoaches equipped with 48 reclining leather seats.
From downtown Montreal, buses depart every 15 minutes during the busiest morning period between 4:45 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., before switching to 30-minute intervals until 9:00 p.m.
Services from Montréal-Trudeau Airport operate every 15 minutes between 5:15 a.m. and 6:45 a.m., followed by departures every 30 minutes throughout the day, with the final shuttle leaving the airport at 10:00 p.m.
Passengers travelling from downtown benefit from a dedicated waiting area, while airport departures pick up customers curbside at Door 7 on the departures level.
Tickets from CA$9
One-way fares start at CA$9 plus applicable taxes. Customers can reserve seats in advance or board at the airport subject to availability.
Air Canada says the shuttle uses dedicated high-occupancy vehicle lanes and a private airport entrance, reducing travel times by up to 25 minutes during peak traffic compared with regular airport access routes.
Separate from flight protection
Unlike Air Canada’s fully integrated Landline services operating from regional airports, the Montreal airport shuttle does not include route protection.
If passengers miss their Air Canada flight because of a delay affecting the shuttle journey, Landline will make reasonable efforts to notify the airline when operationally possible. However, any rebooking remains at Air Canada’s sole discretion and is subject to the airline’s standard policies.
Expanding multimodal travel
The new downtown Montreal shuttle is the latest addition to Air Canada’s partnership with The Landline Company, which has recently expanded to include luxury motorcoach services linking Toronto Pearson International Airport with communities including Sarnia and Muskoka.
By combining scheduled coach services with its flight network, Air Canada aims to provide travellers with easier access to its domestic and international routes while reducing the need for private vehicle journeys to the airport.
