Gatwick Airport and Stansted have been forced to close runways as up to 10cm of snow due to London weathear. Heathrow axed more than 80 and Luton and London City suffered cancellations and delays. All airports are open now and flights are operating however freezing weather is causing some delays and cancellations. The conditions have caused travel disruption, with delayed trains, and flights from Heathrow cancelled on Sunday morning.

While up to 10cm could hit London and the South East tonight, as much as 15cm is forecast for some parts of Essex.

Southeastern railway was forced to advise passengers not to travel on Monday morning, although some services started at around 10am.
