VIVA Cruises has unveiled its full programme of themed river cruises for 2027, offering travellers a choice of wellness, jazz and mystery-inspired voyages across some of Europe’s most popular waterways.
The collection includes 19 departures between February and November 2027 aboard VIVA ONE and VIVA RUBY, with itineraries ranging from four to seven nights.
The themed sailings combine destination-focused river cruising with curated onboard experiences designed to appeal to both first-time and returning river cruise guests.
Wellness Cruises Along the Rhine
One of the programme’s highlights is The Ultimate Wellness Journey Between Iconic Cities & Fairytale Villages, a four-night itinerary aboard VIVA ONE.
With eight departures scheduled throughout February and March 2027, the cruise sails roundtrip from Düsseldorf, calling at Boppard, Speyer, Rüdesheim and Linz am Rhein, while also passing through the UNESCO-listed Loreley Valley.
Guests will enjoy wellness-focused menus, health-oriented programming and presentations from wellness professionals throughout the voyage. Prices start from £895 per person.
Jazz Takes Centre Stage
Music lovers can opt for the six-night Jazz Cruise to Brussels, departing on 7 November 2027 aboard VIVA ONE.
The roundtrip itinerary from Düsseldorf includes calls in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Antwerp and Nijmegen.
A dedicated jazz programme will be featured onboard, including performances by acclaimed pianist Frank Muschalle. Prices start from £1,395 per person.
Mystery-Themed River Adventure
For travellers seeking something different, VIVA Cruises has introduced Mystery from the Spree to the Rhine, a seven-night sailing aboard VIVA RUBY departing on 30 October 2027.
The itinerary travels from Berlin to Düsseldorf, visiting Potsdam, Rothensee, Calvörde, Wolfsburg, Minden and Münster.
Onboard activities will focus on famous criminal investigations, historic crime cases, detective stories and crime fiction through lectures, readings and interactive experiences. Prices start from £1,695 per person.

The 2027 collection represents VIVA Cruises’ most diverse themed programme to date, offering travel advisors and guests a wider range of experiences across Europe’s rivers.
