Istria Dominates International Olive Oil Rankings

The latest edition of the internationally recognized Flos Olei guide selected the world’s leading olive oil producers from dozens of countries across multiple continents.

Despite its relatively small size, Istria accounted for a significant share of the producers included in the rankings.

The result reinforces the region’s growing influence within premium olive oil markets and strengthens its international culinary reputation.

Industry observers increasingly view Istria as one of Europe’s standout food tourism destinations.

Several producers from the region received additional recognition for product quality and consistency.

Top-performing producers achieved maximum scores while others were recognized for premium blended extra virgin oils.
