Spanish airline World2Fly is set to connect Madrid with two cities in Uzbekistan, Tashkent and Urgench, through charter flights. The first passenger flight on the Madrid-Tashkent route is scheduled for May 23, 2024, according to Uzbekistan Airports.
The inaugural flight will not only carry tourists but also prominent Spanish tour operators, journalists, and bloggers to Uzbekistan.
The planned routes, Madrid-Tashkent-Madrid and Madrid-Urgench-Madrid, will operate biweekly. The flights will be conducted using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The first phase of these charter flights will run until the end of June and will resume from September to October 2024.
World2Fly, a Spanish passenger airline, was established in 2020 and is headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. This new venture marks a significant expansion in their route offerings, aiming to boost tourism and connectivity between Spain and Uzbekistan.
