Oman Air has announced the launch of three new routes this autumn, expanding its network to include Zurich, Malé, and Moscow. The new flights will begin just in time for the winter holiday season, with services from Muscat to Zurich starting on October 5, to Malé on October 27, and to Moscow on October 29.
These new routes are designed to cater to travelers seeking the winter charm of Switzerland, the tropical allure of the Maldives, or the cultural richness of Russia’s capital, according to the airline.
The Moscow route, in particular, will feature three flights per week, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flights from Moscow will depart at 23:10, arriving in Muscat at 06:00 the next day, local time. The return flight from Muscat is scheduled to depart at 15:45, arriving in Moscow at 20:50, with a flight duration of 5 hours and 50 minutes.
Currently, Oman Air operates direct flights to more than 40 destinations across 23 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The addition of these new routes underscores the airline’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and providing travelers with more options for their journeys.
