On the shores of Lake Como, a new concept of luxury travel is taking shape. With the opening of The Lake Como EDITION, the destination introduces not just a hotel, but a fully immersive approach to wellbeing anchored by The Longevity SPA.
Developed in collaboration with The Longevity Suite, the spa marks the brand’s entry into one of Italy’s most anticipated hotel openings, blending advanced science with sensory rituals in a setting defined by understated elegance.
A spa built on science and regeneration
The Longevity SPA moves beyond traditional relaxation, positioning itself at the intersection of diagnostics and treatment. Its philosophy centres on cellular regeneration, metabolic balance and mental clarity.
Inside, seven treatment rooms – including a dedicated suite for couples – host a curated menu of therapies designed to address both physical and cognitive wellbeing. The approach is clinical in precision yet experiential in delivery, reflecting a broader shift toward evidence-based wellness.
Among the standout rituals is the Iki-Sabi treatment, a multi-sensory journey that begins with a remineralising seaweed wrap and evolves through layers of texture and touch. Fermented rice water, silk powder and silk cocoon massage techniques are combined with gentle bodywork, creating a treatment that is as tactile as it is restorative.
Biohacking meets luxury hospitality
The spa’s most advanced offering, Ultimate Biohacking, brings together multiple technologies in a single regenerative protocol. Dry Floating is paired with Near Infra-Red Therapy and Hydrogen-Oxygen Therapy to enhance sleep quality, reduce inflammation and support immune function.
Facial treatments follow a similarly targeted approach. Cryofacial Hydrashine uses Local Cryo alongside oxygenating masks to stimulate collagen and elastin production, delivering both immediate radiance and longer-term skin benefits.
For the body, Cool Dren & Toning focuses on microcirculation and detoxification, aiming to reduce swelling while improving tone and elasticity.
Complementing these treatments are thermal facilities including a Finnish sauna, an herbal sauna, two steam rooms and traditional Turkish baths, creating a complete circuit of heat and recovery.
Wellness beyond the treatment room
Scheduled to open in March 2026, the hotel itself is set within a restored 19th-century building, where historic architecture meets contemporary design. With 148 rooms, including 25 suites and two penthouses, the property positions itself as both a retreat and a base for exploration.
Experiences extend beyond the spa, with curated programmes that include sunrise yoga by the lake, personal training sessions and guided treks through the surrounding mountains.
Water remains central to the experience. Boat excursions offer a different perspective of Lake Como, reinforcing the connection between landscape and wellbeing.
Dining shaped by Michelin-star vision
The culinary offering is led by Mauro Colagreco, the three-Michelin-starred chef known for his ingredient-driven approach. Restaurants and bars are designed to reflect the same philosophy as the spa – seasonal, balanced and rooted in quality.
With panoramic views over the Bellagio hills, dining becomes part of the sensory journey, linking gastronomy with the broader concept of holistic wellbeing.
A destination that reflects a wider shift
The arrival of The Longevity SPA at The Lake Como EDITION signals more than a hotel opening. It reflects a growing demand for travel experiences that integrate health, science and design into a single narrative.
On Lake Como, wellness is no longer an add-on. It becomes the core of the journey – measured not just in relaxation, but in regeneration, balance and lasting impact.
