Reservations are now open for Danieli, A Four Seasons Hotel, Venice, which is set to welcome its first guests later this year, marking the long-anticipated arrival of Four Seasons in the lagoon city.
Opening with 120 rooms and suites, the hotel will offer a collection of accommodations, many with sweeping views across the Venetian lagoon. Dining is led by rooftop Restaurant Terrazza Danieli, overseen by Executive Chef Adriano Rausa, positioning the venue as one of the city’s most elevated culinary addresses.
The hotel occupies a landmark waterfront setting on the Riva degli Schiavoni, just steps from Piazza San Marco. The Danieli is composed of three interconnected palaces that together trace more than 500 years of Venetian history. At its core is the 15th-century Palazzo Dandolo, later joined by Palazzo Casa Nuova and Palazzo Danieli Excelsior, creating a layered architectural narrative unique to the city.
An extensive restoration has been led by acclaimed designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, carefully balancing historical integrity with contemporary comfort. Interiors showcase Murano glass, Italian marbles and a colour palette drawn directly from Venice’s waterways, facades and light.
Overseeing the reopening is General Manager Christian Zandonella, whose career spans some of Europe’s most celebrated destinations. He described the project as an opportunity to foster authentic cultural connections, working closely with local craftspeople and embracing the rhythms of everyday Venetian life.
That approach extends into the guest experience programme. Visitors will be invited to engage with the city through immersive activities, including learning the traditional rowing style of Voga Veneta with local rowing clubs, exploring lesser-known gardens and gaining insight into the fragile ecosystem that underpins Venice’s status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Danieli, A Four Seasons Hotel, Venice is scheduled to begin welcoming guests from 26 August 2026, adding a restored icon to the city’s luxury hospitality landscape while introducing the Four Seasons brand to one of Europe’s most storied destinations.
