Four Seasons is continuing its expansion across Spain after confirming plans to open a new luxury hotel in Seville, marking the company’s third property in the country and strengthening its presence in one of Europe’s fastest-growing premium tourism markets.
The project is being developed in partnership with Spanish investment company Blasson and will introduce the Four Seasons brand to AndalucÃa’s capital for the first time.
The new hotel reflects increasing competition among luxury hospitality groups seeking opportunities in culturally rich urban destinations beyond traditional gateway cities.
New Four Seasons Hotel Will Open In Central Seville
Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla will occupy a landmark building located directly on Plaza Nueva within the historic Arenal district.
The property will feature approximately 55 guest rooms spread across five floors following a full redevelopment of the mid-20th century building.
Guest accommodation will range from 40 square meters to 117 square meters, including a large Presidential Suite.
The hotel’s location places visitors within walking distance of many of Seville’s major attractions, including the UNESCO-listed cathedral, Archivo de Indias and Royal Alcázar.
Luxury Facilities Include Rooftop Pool And Multiple Restaurants
The hotel will introduce three distinct dining concepts designed to attract both visitors and local residents.
Plans include a street-level restaurant directly connected to Plaza Nueva, a rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the city skyline and a ground-floor social lounge.
Additional facilities will include a spa, fitness center and rooftop swimming pool with panoramic views across the historic city.
Architecture for the redevelopment is being led by Madrid-based Lamela, while interiors are being designed by AD100-recognized designer Belén Domecq.
Seville Continues Growing As Luxury Tourism Destination
The investment comes as Seville experiences sustained growth in international tourism demand.
The city currently attracts nearly five million visitors annually and continues expanding its international connectivity through additional air routes and high-speed rail connections.
Located approximately 2.5 hours from Madrid by high-speed rail, Seville increasingly attracts travelers seeking luxury experiences combined with cultural tourism.
For Four Seasons, the project builds upon existing operations in Madrid and Mallorca while reinforcing Spain’s growing importance within the company’s European expansion strategy.
