Wizz Air Introduces WIZZ Class to Offer More Space on Selected Routes

Wizz Air is rolling out a new optional service called WIZZ Class, aimed at budget-conscious travellers who want more personal space and added convenience without paying traditional business class fares.

The new product is available for purchase on selected flights to and from Budapest, Bucharest Otopeni Airport, Warsaw, London Luton Airport, London Gatwick Airport and Rome Fiumicino Airport.

Under the WIZZ Class offering, one of the middle seats closest to the passenger – seats 1B or 1E – is blocked and reserved, giving travellers additional shoulder and elbow space. As the first row also features extra legroom, the service is designed to provide more comfort for relaxing or working while maintaining Wizz Air’s single-class cabin layout.

WIZZ Class is offered as an add-on during the booking process for passengers purchasing Smart or Plus bundles and can be selected on the seat selection page. These bundles already include priority boarding and a 10 kg carry-on bag.

With the additional WIZZ Class service, passengers also receive a complimentary non-alcoholic drink and snack, alongside the reserved middle seat.

Silvia Mosquera, Commercial Officer at Wizz Air, said the airline developed the product in response to growing demand from business travellers across its network.

“Business travel is growing across our network, and we’ve listened to what our passengers want,” she said. “They’re asking for a bit more space and speed, but they don’t want to pay legacy airline prices for business class. WIZZ Class answers that demand – offering passengers the room they crave and the service they deserve, without compromising our simple, convenient model. We are also committed to staying a single-class carrier with our efficiency targets.”
