IHG Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its first dual-branded property in Australia with the launch of Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall. Located in the revitalised Melbourne Walk precinct, the opening marks a return of the Holiday Inn brand to Melbourne’s CBD and introduces a vibrant new design-led Hotel Indigo to the city.
The Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins offers 179 boutique-style rooms blending Melbourne’s cultural heritage with contemporary design. The property weaves local stories into its interiors, from preserved heritage façades and laneway-inspired artwork to a cathedral-like atrium and mural by artist Lisa King. Guests can also enjoy modern Melbourne cuisine at the hotel’s Fern Bar & Dining, complete with a leafy courtyard retreat.
Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall brings 273 bright, modern guest rooms, including 92 double-double rooms designed for families and groups. Its signature open-plan lobby, all-day dining at The Greenery, and a 220-square-metre terrace event space overlooking Bourke Street Mall highlight the hotel’s modern approach to hospitality.
Together, the two properties signal a major milestone for IHG in Australia, blending local storytelling and contemporary comfort with global reach. Guests will also have access to IHG One Rewards across more than 6,700 destinations worldwide.
To celebrate the opening, Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall is offering breakfast for two for just $1 extra on top of its best flexible rate as part of its limited-time Opening Special.
