flyadeal to Launch Daily Flights from Saudi Arabia to Damascus Starting October 1, 2025

flyadeal has announced plans to begin daily scheduled flights to Syria beginning October 1, 2025.

The new route marks a significant milestone in reconnecting the region, following the recent lifting of Western sanctions on Syria after years of civil conflict.

Route Details

  • Jeddah–Damascus: Three weekly flights beginning October 1

  • Riyadh–Damascus: Four weekly flights beginning October 2
Together, the two routes will provide daily non-stop services to the Syrian capital.

Tickets are already on sale via the flyadeal app, the airline’s official website (flyadeal.com), and through travel agents.

CEO Statement
Steven Greenway, Chief Executive Officer of flyadeal, said the new routes reflect both opportunity and responsibility:

“With the removal of sanctions on Syria, flyadeal joins many airlines in planning to restore air access to and from a country affected by years of hardship. We are delighted to contribute to Syria’s long-term recovery, its rebuilding efforts, and the reunification of friends and families.”

A Step Toward Reconnection
The flights are expected to support not only family reunions but also tourism, trade, and regional rebuilding efforts, as Syria reopens to international connections.
