LATAM Airlines Group has announced a major upgrade to its passenger experience, partnering with RECARO Aircraft Seating to introduce a new Premium Comfort cabin across its Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft beginning in 2027.
The retrofit program covers 41 shipsets of RECARO’s PL3530 long-range premium class seat, with the first delivery scheduled for early 2027.
What Passengers Can Expect
Designed for long-haul comfort, the PL3530 will bring:
Wider seats with a generous 40-inch pitch and 8-inch recline
Privacy wings for a more secluded travel experience
Panasonic Astrova in-flight entertainment, including:
16-inch 4K screens
Bluetooth audio pairing
USB-C fast charging
AC power outlets
